How to find us

By rail

Solihull is served by three passenger railway lines;

Solihull railway station on the Birmingham to Marylebone line, is about 10 minutes’ walk from the Council House.

The Birmingham to Euston line is approximately five miles from the town centre, the nearest station being Birmingham International, located near to the NEC.

Shirley station, on the Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon line, is some four miles from Solihull town centre.

By bus

There are regular bus services connecting all parts of the borough with Solihull town centre.

By car

There is no public parking around the Council House. Postcode for Sat Nav only B91 3PX

Leave the M42 at junction 5 (Solihull) and take the A41 towards Solihull Town Centre. Take the first left and then second turning at the roundabout onto the Warwick Road. Continue straight on at the first traffic lights. At the second traffic lights take the left slip road into New Road. Continue along New Road and pass St. Alphege Church to a mini roundabout. Go straight over and down Church Hill Road to a roundabout and follow the signs to the nearest public parking at either Touchwood or Church Hill Road.

We’re located on the Ground floor, East Wing of the of Church Hill House (within the Council House complex) in Solihull. If you’re visiting us the best place to park is in Touchwood. Use the pedestrian exit point by ZARA and you’ll see “Orchard House Reception” straight ahead of you. Alternatively use Church Hill House car park and access via the top deck and travel around Church Hill House until you reach Orchard House Reception.
